Which currencies can I purchase gift cards in?
You can purchase gift cards in USD and GBP through the GlobalGiving team for an invoiced payment process and access to reporting. If you want to send gift cards in EUR, CAD, AUD, etc. (some currency other than USD or GBP), you should place your order online with payment by credit card or PayPal at globalgiving.org/gifts.
How will I know which projects the gift cards are redeemed for?
This information can be included with the redemption report and/or in a final report.
What are the costs?
When you purchase gift cards online, GlobalGiving charges a 15% nonprofit support fee on gift cards. Our nonprofit support fee covers transaction costs, any printing and shipping costs, as well as GlobalGiving operations and provides support to our nonprofit partners. This fee is retained from the total donation value of the card.
When you purchase gift cards through our team, additional costs apply and other options are available, including underwriting the fees so that the recipient can allocate 100% to the cause of their choice.
